Ben and I invited Stephen up for the weekend so we could go and ale him to see Rush. They spent most of the evening on their laptops playing League of Legends together. I'd complain, if I didn't love the fact that my brother and boyfriend get on so well. They are the two most important people in my life and I love them both so much!

Yasmin and I spent a day in town collecting yet more things for our sketch pads! On the back of one of the leaflets we picked up we found a 2 for £10 deal at Bella Italia so stopped for some lunch.

I went to Preston with Michelle and Yasmin to collect some art for our sketch pads. I had a great day and realised what amazing friends I have!

Photo Diary 42#

Yasmin, Michelle and I went into Preston today to visit the museum/gallery for our art project. We whizzed round the gallery in no time flat, however, because half of it was closed for a private event. So we spent the rest of the afternoon window shopping, catching up and looking at engagement rings (because we could).

I'm glad I've got Yasmin and Michelle for friends and I can see us keeping in touch after university is finished. At least I hope we do because thy mean a lot to me those two.

We've got a hamster!!!

I couldn't help it! He was so cheep to get, and Ben wanted one too so I went and got one from the pet shop in town. He's called Kennen (Ben's choice) after a ninja hamster in a game Ben plays! It's so nice to have a pet, makes the place feel more like home I think, I really did miss having a pet around!

Neighbours

We've been having a lot of issues recently with one of our neighbours playing his music all night, getting drunk every day and generally being a nuisance. A couple of nights ago when Ben's family were here to visit, our neighbour was causing quite a lot of trouble to the point where 3 police officers arrived to calm him down. My parents also know how much bother this neighbour gives us as I've told them all the stories. As a result, Ben and I now have both sets of parents offering to help us move out in March (when our lease runs out).

The problem is, I don thing I would feel comfortable taking money from either side. Ben's mum has just set up her own business this year which will still be in its first year when March roles round and so it wouldn't feel right to be taking money from them. My dad also has his own business and doesn't know whether the contracts he's working at the moment will carry on into the next financial year, therefore, taking money of him would also feel wrong. Not only that but my parents wet without when I was a child to save up enough money for me to pay for my tuition fees so I feel like they've done enough for me and deserve some financial freedom.

Of course any money that either set of parents offered would be payed back, it's just not the point. Hopefully though, by the time March is here Ben and I will have saved enough money of our own to make the deposit and then we won't have to borrow money from anyone.

I'm getting into he creator flow with my art work and decided that I needed a little rosé to help me long the way. However, when I got to the shop I spotted a bottle of Black Tower and got all nostalgic, it was my granddad's favourite wine and isometric as well because of its easy to drink fruity taste. So I'll have a glass in your name Papa, I miss you.

It's a shame out flat looks east, we miss all the gorgeous sunsets. I only spotted this because I popped to the shop for some essentials.
